Volunteering Positions
In high season (May until September), Do you want to have the surf lifestyle and live in a sunny place? There is no salary but see what we can offer you, we have some volunteering positions in Portugal that you might be interested in as a Receptionist. What you get as a volunteer:
For example:
- Great shallow & flat water to learn Kitesurfing and/or Wingfoiling.
- You can join our daily Sunrise Caves & Grottoes SUP tours.
- We also have surfboards & bicycles available for you to enjoy the amazing nature that Algarve offers.
- Enjoy the Surf lifestyle and become a part of our family by helping the community 20h/week!(Reception Volunteers, 4-8weeks)
- Accommodation in our fully equipped Instructor’s house 5 minutes walk from the beach/surf spot.
- No salary.
Kitesurf Instructor in Portugal:
For Kitesurf Instructor in Portugal, we are looking for a person who has the following profile and characteristics:
- Valid Kitesurf instructor certification, (IKO or VDWS) with 100+ hours of teaching.
- Flexible, reliable & good guest relation skills.
- Positive work mentality: Proactive, friendly, open-minded & team player (willing to help on equipment maintenance or opening the school).
- Fluent English is a must. French, German or Dutch is a plus!
- First Aid Course.
- Competent, punctual and motivated.
- Salary and benefits to be discussed according to your skills.
SUP instructor(Position Closed):
For Stand Up Paddle Instructor, we are NOT hiring at the moment:
- Valid SUP instructor certification (ASI or VDWS) with 100+ hours of teaching.
- Flexible, reliable & good guest relation skills -at Sunrise-.
- Positive work mentality: Proactive, friendly, open-minded & team player (willing to help on equipment maintenance or opening the school).
- Fluent English is a must. French, German or Dutch is a plus!
- Other skills like photography, video, social media, SUP repairs, car driving license are also a plus, not a must.
- First Aid Course.
- Competent, punctual and motivated.
- Salary and benefits to be discussed according to your skills.
Volunteer at the reception:
For this volunteering vacancy, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
- Flexible, reliable & good guest relation skills.
- Positive work mentality: Proactive, friendly, open-minded & team player.
- Fluent English is a must. French, German or Dutch is a plus!
- Skills like photography, video, social media specialist and car driving license.
- Competent, punctual and motivated.
- Interest in learning/enjoying watersports and the surf life.
